nu·m8 automtic software update instructions 

It is important that you allow nu.m8 to be updated when you first receive it as there are significant country specific enhancements that we make available by software update.

When an update is available, for safety reasons, it will only happen with a fully charged battery and when the watch is not in bracelet compromised mode.

Here is how to proceed to ensure you receive the update

1. With your watch turned on and the bracelet closed, on to the portal make sure the watch is in Standby mode and send an Off command to the watch. 

2. Once the watch turns Off on its own, Open the Bracelet, place the watch back onthe charger, until the green light comes on. 

3. In an area with good cell phone coverage, close the bracelet and as the watch starts you should see a few bars on the screen for a few minutes and then the watch will restart.The update takes less then 5 minutes and improves location and SMS features.The update takes less then 5 minutes and improves location and SMS features.
